- Promenade in "varsouvianna" position, left hands joined in front and right hands joined on lady's right shoulder. To roll the lady in, she slides to partner's left while they raise their joined left hands up overhead and down in front. Reverse the move to swing back out. - Lead couple steps inside the circle and they allemande right.
Lead lady allemande left
with the next gent (her corner,) meets partner in the middle for
an allemande right. She
then moves on to the next gent for an allemande left. Leads
continue, partner by the right
and next gent by the left, all the way around the circle to place.
As soon as the next
available couple is clear (when lead couple is dancing with fourth
couple down the line,)
the second couple begins the figure. Each couple in turn joins in.

SWING THE ONE BEHIND
- All promenade. Gents hang back while ladies move ahead two (or

swing the new gent. Repeat until back with original partner.

gent's right arm behind lady, right hands
joined on lady's right shoulder. Gents don't stop moving forward;
ladies turn out cw under
the joined and raised right hands to catch the gent just behind
and resume the promenade

- Ladies turn out and drop back one.
- All promenade. Gents turn back and swing the lady
behind. Resume promenade with that

- Couples promenade two by two,
Gents fall back one and swing the gal behind you.
Promenade on as you always do,
Promenade two by two
Repeat the above until all are back with partners.
Gents turn and swing, you know who,
This is the gal that belongs to you,
Now promenade home as you always do.

behind. Resume promenade with that
