BLACK SNAKE TWIST
- Couples one and two circle left once around. Swing partners and
resume circle left. Gent
one releases corner and leads the line, splitting couple three and passing behind lady
three into the center. Passing in front of gent four, the line splits couple four and loop ccw
around the lady. They split
couple four again and go behind gent four into the center. Passing in front of lady three, the line splits couple three. The
line goes behind gent three and into the center. Now couple three
joins the end of the line and those six circle left. Those three couples swing partners and resume circle left. Gent
one releases corner and
splits couple four, going ccw around the lady to the center. They
split couple four again
and go cw behind gent four. Now couple four joins on and all eight circle
left. All swing partners

- First couple out and circle left

resume circle left. Gent one releases corner and leads the line through couple four
again, going cw around
the gent and into the center. They split couple three again, going
cw around the gent into
the center where they circle left and right and swing corners and
partners. Now all join in

- All stand by while we cut off four and dance the floor--
circle to the left.

Break and around the lady and around the gent also.

LITTLE PROMENADE
- Partners two-hand swing halfway around, pass by right shoulder and two-hand swing
corners halfway around,
pass by right shoulder and promenade partners around the square
using skater's position.

GRAND PROMENADE
- Starts with Little Promenade above, but partner promenade is only halfway
around the square. Partners
reverse direction without changing hands or trading sides and
promenade back to
place, gent on inside and lady outside. Once again, repeat Little Promenade above but promenade all the way around.

- Like the Sharp figure above, starts with Little Promenade above, but partner promenade is only halfway
around the square. Partners
reverse direction without changing hands or trading sides and
promenade back to
place, gent on inside and lady on outside. At home, reverse direction again and promenade all the way around.

- Swing your partner half-way 'round
Corner the same when she comes down
Now take your partner by the hand
And grande promenade around the land.
Half-way there now the other way back
Hold where you are and take a backtrack.
