PEARLY GATES
  1. Corners drop hands, partners take inside hands. Couples move forward, evens raising an arch and odds ducking through it. Couples turn around and repeat the above to place. OCEAN WAVE
  1. Odds take skaters' promenade hold. Evens drop hands. Odds move forward four steps between the evens while evens move forward singly. Odds turn around without dropping hands and step back to place while the evens turn alone and move back to place. Repeat all above, this time evens are in the center taking skaters' hold and leading.   2. Same as 1 above except in the last half, when odds dance singly. In this version the odds don't go forward and return but rather go forward and all the way around the promenading evens. Odd gent goes cw around, odd lady ccw, pass right shouders behind the evens continuing to home where they swing into place just in time. Both couples, partners join inside hands and turn as couples, man backing up and lady going forward. Repeat above with evens taking skaters' hold and odds walking singly. Turn as couples to place.   7. Couples drop hands but keep partner's hand. Both couples back up about four steps, then move forward to meet again. Odd couple drop hands and separate, veering around evens.
